Mayor Taylor to announce she won’t seek another term:
Republican Entrepreneur Clay Clark announces plans to run for Mayor of Tulsa.
Mayor Kathy Taylor announced that she will not be running for reelection as Mayor of Tulsa. And as a fellow Tulsan, I respect her for working for FREE to serve Tulsa over the past 4 years. I do not agree with her positions on the majority of the major issues facing Tulsa, but I do respect her for WORKING HARD for Tulsa (I don’t think anyone put in more hours during the past 4 years than Mayor Taylor).
As a candidate for the Mayor of Tulsa, I believe that now is the time for Conservative Constitutional Tulsans to begin the FIGHT AGAINST SOCIALISM.

“A Plan For Tulsa” Priorities:
1) Safety and Infrastructure First – Adequate Police & Fire & Safe Roads & Bridges come ahead of new ballparks in my list of priorities.
2) Cutting back on government spending – I attended the Tea Parties because I agree with them. We are on the journey from capitalism to socialism and I will work with people like Ken Yazel to cut back on government spending. We will strictly implement Jack Welch’s proven strategy for winning in the work place called “Differentiation” to find savings.
3) Eradication of Illegal Immigration – 375,000 residents live in Tulsa. We have an unemployment rate approaching 7%, yet we have 30,000 illegal immigrants working here. Do the math.
4) Representing the Values of Tulsans – Limited Government. Entrepreneurship. Pro-Life. Anti-Illegal Immigration Invasion. Promoting the Right To Bear Arms.
5) Celebrate Education – I will celebrate the Teacher of the Year. I want to treat our top performing teachers like the heroes they are.
Campaign Promises:
1) Restoring Frugality Within Government – I personally drive a 1984 Brown Van that I bought for $1,000, but it gets me where I want to go. I will not fly first class on your tax dollars.
2) Candor / Transparency – As Mayor I want to publish all of my credit card statements online so citizens can see where their dollars are going. As Mayor I want to appear on KFAQ weekly to keep Tulsans informed and to answer any of the tough questions they have. I want all meetings that occur within my office to be recorded on video for all of Tulsa to view up on the website. There will be no secret meetings with my administration.
3) I am not a politician. I have no political experience and nobody’s back to scratch. I will do whatever is needed to put more of your dollars back in your wallets. Government is our problem and is not our solution.
4) I will run a clean campaign. Mayor Taylor is sincere. She is a hardworker and she has not taken a salary, however as a Liberal she believes that government is the solution and as a conservative I believe that government is the problem.
