Having had the honor of working with DJ Josh Smith since 2003, it has been my pleasure to watch DJ Josh Smith develop into one of Tulsa’s premier wedding djs. Having DJed well over 500 wedding evens over this 5 year period of time, DJ Josh has nearly perfected his craft.
Having watched his development from a “DJ Grasshopper” to a “DJ Jedi,” his improvement has been remarkable. His announcements today now possess the same type of energy that Steve Martin used to bring when delivering his “Wild and Crazy Guy” comedy routine. It is truly amazing. His ability to read the crowd has got me beginning to question my own DJ-ing abilities (which is hard to do). Whenever I make my random quality control stops on Saturday nights I always enjoy spying in on DJ Josh’s wedding receptions. It always seems as though the crowd is always waiting on his every word, yet he still maintains the crowd’s focus on the bride and the groom as the celebrities of the night.
A good DJ can make a good reception epic. And DJ Josh has been doing this to Tulsa area weddings for 5 years straight. In all candidness, it has been an honor to work with DJ Josh Smith. DJ Josh Smith, I salute you!
